Ordi Launch offers two methods to divide Inscriptions into 1 million ΞΌTokens: the Vault and Safeboxes.
The Vault is an accessible public option. By placing Inscriptions in the Vault, users exchange ownership for immediate liquidity, receiving ΞΌTokens that are freely tradable. This method is known for its convenience and ease of access.
Alternatively, Safeboxes cater to those who wish to keep ownership. To use this method, users must first stake $ORLA tokens. Once staked, they can deposit Inscriptions into their personal Safebox, gaining a unique Safebox Key that confirms ownership and 1 million ΞΌTokens. Safeboxes distinguish between the Premium and Floor Price of an Inscription.
Key differences include:
Ownership: The Vault involves giving up ownership, while Safeboxes retain it via Keys.
Accessibility: The Vault is open to all, whereas Safeboxes require staking and can only be accessed by Keys matched to specific Inscriptions.
Privileges: Safebox Keys grant special rights, such as reclaiming specific Inscriptions from Safeboxes.
Tradability: Safebox Keys will be tradable through auctions and other upcoming tools.
In summary, the Vault offers straightforward liquidity by publicly fractionalizing Inscriptions, while Safeboxes provide a private method to fractionalize and maintain ownership rights. Each method addresses different preferences and investment strategies.
